The 2.5lb and 5lb packs change phase at 32°F, maintaining refrigerator-safe temperatures, while the 0.75lb small pack changes phase at 28°F for even deeper cooling. The active ingredients are non-toxic and housed in a rugged container designed to provide maximum surface area to increase cooling efficiency.
Engel Ice Packs will maintain food-safe temperatures for hours without the risk of freezing. When finished using, simply recharge in your household freezer until needed again. Freezing takes about 6-8 hours. It is recommended to use Engel Ice Packs in combination with ice, to extend the life of ice up to 50%. Dishwasher safe and reusable for years!
