With its flexibility and resistance to the effects of abrasion, chemicals, weather and ozone, SOOW Portable Cord is excellent for heavy-duty cable service applications. SOOW Portable Cord can also be used for ground tests and motor leads.
- EXCELLENT OIL AND MOISTURE RESISTANCE: SOOW Flexible Portable Cord is resistant to oil and moisture. It has good tensile strength, elongation and aging characteristics. SOOW Flexible Portable cable has high flexibility, excellent abrasion resistance and is both water and sunlight resistant.
- SOOW IS RATED TO 600 VOLTS: for indoor and outdoor use. Our SOOW cable has a temperature range of -40°C to 90°C making it an excellent choice for mitigating outdoor factors that would otherwise alter the performance of wire or cable.
- FULLY ANNEALED STRANDED BARE COPPER: 8 AWG fully annealed stranded bare copper conductors per ASTM B-174. Insulated conductors (red, black, green, white) are cabled with fillers as necessary to make round, a separator is applied over the assembly. Insulation Thickness 0.050 inches. Outside Cable Diameter 0.795 inches. The overall jacket of this cable is a black, oil-resistant thermoset compound per UL 62
