Description: This vermouth is made from Macabeo and Xarello grapes grown in our own vineyards. After the first winter following the harvest, we add sugar and a blend of herbs to the wine, resulting in a base vermouth which is then aged in 50-year-old chestnut barrels originally used for transporting wine and now adapted for storing vermouth. The vermouth has a very expressive nose with aromas of sweet spices, particularly cinnamon and cloves, and hints of candied fruits. The palate is creamy and fresh, giving way to a finish with memories of slightly bitter Mediterranean herbs.
