The smooth ball design of the Pearls is especially suited to bottom feeding fish.
The BiOrb Pearl Media provides a perfect home for beneficial bacteria to live and thrive. This beneficial bacteria provides vital biological filtration, providing clear and healthy water for your aquarium inhabitants. The BiOrb Pearls are inert and will not alter the pH of the water making them suitable for both freshwater and saltwater installations in aquariums other than BiOrb.
