Single Collar Traction Lock-On Grips

Built for aggressive riding and maximum mechanical grip, the Renthal Traction Grips use directional tread patterns to lock your hands in place when pushing and pulling hard on the bars. Ramped finger ridges, palm grooves, and open tread features deliver confidence in wet, muddy, and high-load conditions, while the single lock-on collar ensures rock-solid security. Offered in Ultratacky and Aramid compounds for the perfect balance of grip and durability.

Features:

• Single, inboard CNC machined aluminium collar.
• Collar permanently integrated with the grip body, for ultimate durability.
• Stainless steel screws, with deep, 3mm socket head.
• Off-set over-mold, to put more soft material under the riders palm.
• Thinner over-mold under the fingers, to increase control.
• Internal, soft material, ribs to provide a secure fit on the handlebar.
• Integrated, hard plastic, ‘R’ logo end-cap, for impact durability.
• Anodised and laser marked collars.

Traction Specifics:

• Forward facing ramped finger ridges, for extra mechanical grip, when pulling back.
• Rearward facing palm grooves, for additional grip when loading the grip forwards.
• Open ended features, to allow mud clearance.
• Outboard raised section on the underside, to help locate hand position.

Compounds:

• Premium Ultratacky compound. Renthal’s unique Ultratacky compound constantly produces and renews a sticky surface coating. The resulting adhesive grip surface massively increases control and reduces fatigue. If the grip loses its stickiness, simply wash with clean water and allow the grips to air dry to re-activate
• Premium Aramid compound. Our most advanced compound to date. Millions of randomly aligned Aramid particles are suspended in the base material. As the grip is used, more of these particles are exposed, resisting wear whilst retaining a tacky feel.
